When referring to Đầm Market, many visitors will think about dress, because in Vietnamese, the word “Đầm” is used to point the dress. However, locals named this market as “Chợ Đầm” because in the past, the market was a swamp which streched from the mouth of Cai river to the inside land under the foot of Ha Ra bridge.
2. Lotus Architecture:
One of the most prominent features of Đầm Market is its special architecture. Unlike normal markets in Vietnam, Đầm Market was built accroding to the shape of a blossom lotus with the diameter of 66.5m in 1980. Đầm Market is located in the center of Nha Trang city, includes two floors covering an area of up to 5,270 square meters and are built in circular with V-shaped roof. The market can accommodate more than 3,000 people.

Đầm Market is divided into three main areas, including the center area, the left area and the right area.
